<p>The typical real estate purchase involves a pile of paperwork that’s frequently faxed and often shared between parties as faded and hard to read documentation. In almost every case it’s Realtors facilitating this shuffle ‘back and forth’ of contract changes and files between buyers and sellers, lenders, closing agents and others involved in the transaction.</p>
<p>At Crye-Leike, REALTORS – the nation’s 6th largest real estate firm – the days of faxing and sharing the mountains of paper files are fast becoming a thing of the past. The company has spent months ramping up and testing a new online transaction management system called TransactionPoint. Very soon, every person directly involved in a Crye-Leike real estate sale will be offered ‘online access’ to view files, contracts, mortgage documents, inspection reports and more from anywhere at anytime. </p>

The ultimate goal is to introduce the automated transaction management system to Crye-Leike’s entire network of nearly 130 corporate and franchise offices in its nine state southern US region.</p>

<p>As the 2nd busiest search engine on the web, YouTube.com offers its users free reign to launch, browse and search through an ever expanding assortment of clips from music videos to news footage to amateur antics. With the audience of users on YouTube and other social media sites growing exponentially, Mid-South real estate giant Crye-Leike seized on what it hopes is a golden opportunity by joining in.</p>

<p>RealBiz360 is collaborating with Crye-Leike in both the creation and delivery of its property listings to YouTube and beyond. As it turns out, YouTube will be just one of many places for Crye-Leike and its agents to mass market their listings to every place possible on the web – from an agent’s personal website to social networking site like Facebook and Twitter.</p>

<p>The new virtual tours on YouTube are provided at no cost to Crye-Leike agents – and are essentially a seamless mini music video along with a voice-over description of the property details including price. <p>Recognized as one of the finest striped bass fisheries in the country, Beaver Lake has been attracting fishing enthusiasts from all over the U.S. for decades. The lure of the Rogers lake resort area has netted another big fish of sorts. Crye-Leike, REALTORS recently purchased a small retail center on Highway 12 East in Rogers as its new Beaver Lake location.</p>
<p>“Moving into our new Beaver Lake Office has been like a breath of fresh air,” said Chuck Gay, Crye-Leike’s newly named Beaver Lake Managing Broker. “The lake community is very special and even through the recession, demand for lake homes and real estate sales have remained fairly stable.”</p>
<p>Chuck Gay and six other associates, all previously affiliated with Harris McHaney Realtors, have come onboard to make up the new Beaver Lake team. They’ve all been specializing in lake property sales for many years. Chuck considers Crye-Leike’s recent expansion and acquisition as a clear indication of a market and region on the upswing.</p>
<p>“We have many out of state buyers looking for second homes around the lake,” said Chuck. “The only problem we are experiencing is a shortage of lake homes to sell. This of course creates a great opportunity for sellers, as most of the lake homes do not remain on the market for a long period of time.”</p>
<p>Beaver Lake now represents Crye-Leike’s 8th company owned sales center in Northwest Arkansas. Cofounder and CEO Harold Crye looks to a bright future for real estate sales in the area based on a strong economic engine he sees primarily fueled by Wal-Mart, Tyson Foods, J.B. Hunt Trucking and the University of Arkansas.</p>

<p>Helping people buy and sell homes across Central Arkansas is a true calling for Bill and Janet Tobias. With Crye-Leike, REALTORS in Conway the husband and wife team is dedicated to helping people of all walks with a desire to have their own place to call home.</p>
<p>Six years ago Bill and Janet took their real estate passion and desire to serve others to the Faulkner County Habitat for Humanity organization, which is dedicated to building quality homes for individuals and families. For two years Bill has served as the organization’s President.</p>
<p>“Habitat has been important to me in helping others and giving back to the community,” said Bill Tobias of Crye-Leike Conway. “Although fundraising and administration have been important areas I have worked on, I most enjoy new home groundbreakings and dedications.”</p>
<p>Bill and Janet’s involvement was recently recognized as they were selected as the 2009 recipients of the Golden Hammer Award by Habitat for Humanity of Faulkner County. The Golden Hammer Award is presented each year to a volunteer that has shown exceptional commitment to helping further the mission of Habitat.</p>
<p>“We are very honored by this award and have been very blessed in our lives and are very thankful for all we have,” said Janet Tobias of Crye-Leike Conway. “Giving a hand up to people in need is the least we can do.”</p>
<p>Faulkner County Habitat recently launched a ‘ReStore’ which offers quality used and surplus building materials at a fraction of normal prices, while helping to fund Habitat for Humanity house construction projects. The Faulkner County ReStore, which accepts donations of surplus materials, is located at 1025 Front Street in Conway and you can email them at habitat@conwaycorp.net or phone (501) 513-3244.</p>
<p>“We have so many great people helping at Habitat but I am most proud of our team starting the ReStore,” said Bill. “While Janet and I are honored by this recognition from our colleagues and peers – it’s what we do to help others that is the greatest reward.”</p>

<p>Many indicators now suggest Nashville’s housing market is on the way up. In a similar fashion many Realtors are charging upward with greater optimism. Some, like Crye-Leike’s Betty Treherne-Harris, have upped their game during the housing downturn with enhanced real estate education and advancement within the industry.</p>
<p>“I made it a goal in 2010 to finally become a Broker in Tennessee with the advanced education and knowledge that you need to have in today’s housing market,” said Betty. “The extra know-how is also something today’s clients expect too.”</p>
<p>Betty enrolled in the Broker program based on both an inner desire to challenge herself and to have the credentials and the knowledge to pursue and achieve other goals in the sometimes volatile housing industry.</p>
<p>“This past year my business was affected by first time homebuyers, flood zones, short sales and fabricated homes that no bank would consider for loans, investors and credit report issues,” said Betty. “Just as important as my having answers – is knowing whose job it is to provide updated and correct information to my clients.”</p>
<p>To maintain her new Broker license, Betty must now commit to many more hours of advanced education each year… many more than was previously required.</p>
<p>“There is so much to know in real estate and the process of learning is ongoing,” said Betty. “This need to know is what keeps my fires burning for this industry.”</p>
<p>Betty offers a special thanks to her mentors – many of them Brokers – who were instrumental in her success and who Betty says stressed the importance of goal setting. </p>
<p>“I believe that this respect for education is what makes my fellow Brokers not only successful but excellent real estate agents and role models,” said Betty. “With tax credits, low home prices and great interest rates all still in play – sales are improving in 2010 and in my opinion the market as a whole is on its way up.”</p>

<p>Weaver is in some respects ‘new again’ as he joins Crye-Leike, REALTORS as the company’s new Madison branch office Managing Broker. And he sees some clear parallels between his new employer, Greater Huntsville and real estate sales.</p>
<p>“As a native of the Huntsville area I have seen many changes to our city and have seen it grow from a cotton town to a high-tech center,” said Weaver. “Most people do not see real estate companies as high tech, but it’s clear a company like Crye-Leike and its use of tools and technology make it a formidable force in the business and as a result well received in Huntsville.”</p>
<p>Weaver brings nearly a decade of real estate sales experience to his new roll with Crye-Leike. His work as a Realtor began in 2002 – coming on the heels of a successful 17-year career in Huntsville’s High-Tech industry where he managed a world-class customer support ‘help desk’ and desktop support team. </p>
<p>After making the switch to real estate sales and coming off his very first year in the business, the former RE/MAX Huntsville Associate Broker was named ‘Rookie of the Year’ for the entire southeastern region as well as the recipient of the RE/MAX Spirit Award.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Crye-Leike Associates Take Time To ‘Team Build’ &amp; Give Back To Their Community</strong></p>
<p>The property management team at Crye-Leike, REALTORS in Brentwood is dedicated to assisting clients in managing their rental homes and properties on a daily basis &#8211; but the team recently took some time out of their busy schedules to assist people without a home in Nashville.</p>
<p>Crye-Leike Managing Broker Ben Claybaker took his office to the Nashville Rescue Mission for a ‘team building’ day where they could give back and serve the community.</p>
<p>“I felt this would not only strengthen our team but also serve the homeless of Nashville,” said Claybaker. “It was an incredible experience and truly a life changing day for all of us. I loved watching the office bond in a way we never have before.”</p>
<p>After a great day at Nashville’s Rescue Missions, Claybaker believes volunteering at non-profit organizations makes a great ‘team building’ day for any office and he hopes to inspire other companies to serve the community like his team did.</p>
<p> “So many of our employees had great things to say about the day.” Claybaker adds. “We will definitely be volunteering another day of our time in the near future.”</p>
<p>Crye-Leike’s Tamara Bishop said, “I am truly thankful for being allowed an opportunity to give back. Seeing all those people at the Mission reminded me of how extremely blessed I really am.”</p>
<p>The day at the Nashville Rescue Mission inspired Crye-Leike Associate Romney Hill so much that she decided to be a repeat volunteer.</p>
<p>“It was a great day of working together as a team to help others,” said Hill. “I really enjoyed helping the Nashville Rescue Mission and plan to volunteer with the ladies mission there. I appreciate working for a company and office where some time is set aside to give back to our local community.”</p>
